During her four years at Alecta, Johanna was responsible for building up the infrastructure portfolio, including investments in heat, renewables and telecom. Previously Johanna worked within investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and SEB, as well as within investment management at Schroders. Johanna holds a M.Sc. in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics.

Johanna Strömsten Friberg joins Niam Infrastructure
Niam Infrastructure has hired Johanna Strömsten Friberg as Associate Director. Johanna has a solid track record with more than seven years of experience from energy, infrastructure and other real asset investments. Johanna joins from Alecta where she was Portfolio Manager for Real Assets.

Niam Infrastructure launched its first fund in 2021, focusing on sustainable infrastructure investments in the Nordic region and Northern Europe. The fund targets small to medium-sized investments with a focus on asset aggregation and risk reduction in primarily Nordic sustainable infrastructure. Since its launch, Niam Infrastructure has invested in among other C&I roof-top solar, indoor 5G neutral host networks and ultra-fast EV-charging.
