Solar as-a-service provides property owners and tenants a simple way to shift to solar power. Solarwork and Niam infrastructure provides the full service from permit, installation, and finance to operation and service with the property owners and tenants only paying a fixed price for the electricity produced. The solution is financed by Niam Infrastructure through a long-term power purchase agreement (“PPA”) which enables the customer to save money and reduce risk while going green.

Niam Infrastructure invests in Solarwork
Niam’s newly launched platform Niam Infrastructure has invested in Solarwork, a Swedish owned solar installation and service company. This is the platform’s first investment within renewable energy. As a part of the investment, Niam Infrastructure and Solarwork will together offer property owners and tenants Solar as-a-service through tailor-made solutions for every property’s current and future needs, reducing their electricity costs while contributing to a greener tomorrow.
Solar is the obvious solution for property owners and tenants to reduce their carbon footprint and also hedge against increasing electricity bills. Together with Solarwork we have the opportunity to accelerate this transition to solar by providing a simple and fully financed solution to our customers. We are fully committed to offer affordable and trouble-free green electricity to our customers and with Solarwork we plan to invest 500 MSEK into this strategy over the next five years.
Solarwork is owned by its three founders, Carl-Olof Wilhelmson, Eric Wachtmeister and Thomas Elfving and has 15 employees.
